Major, Lindsey & Africa's Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Securities Lending Attorney.
Overview: Our global banking client is looking for a seasoned Securities Lending Attorney to join the Capital Markets Team on a consulting basis.
Company: Global Financial Services Organization.
Experience: 10 + years, Big Law Securities Lending Experience.
Location: Hybrid NYC (3 days in office).
Responsibilities:
- Interfacing with both the client Strategic Equity Transaction Group MDs and clients, to act as a senior strategist advisor on transactions;
- Negotiating and drafting in connection with deals related to equity stake finance,structured finance in equity, and structured notes transactions;
- Handling equity derivatives, margin loan and cash equity transactions;
- Handling broker/dealer regulatory matters;
- SEC Reporting matters; and
- Possible work in the bond transaction market.
Qualifications:
- 10 + years, big law experience with equity stake financing, structured finance and structured note transactions;
- Experience handling equity derivative, margin loan and cash equity transactions;
- Experience Handling broker-dealer regulatory matters;
- Experience handling SEC reporting matters; and
- Admitted and in good standing in NY.
