QTS is seeking a highly skilled **Senior Manager, Interiors Projects** to lead our Interior Design Projects team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of interior design projects from concept to completion for the World's Most Valuable Data Center Real Estate, ensuring that they meet client expectations, quality standards, and project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, project management, and team leadership. The Senior manager must have the ability to present high level topics and concepts to an Executive level audience and be able to influence decisions at this level.

**RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.**

+ Lead a team of interior designers and project managers in the successful execution of interior design projects.

+ Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and goals for each project.

+ Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to internal stakeholders for approval.

+ Manage the project lifecycle, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

+ Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

+ Oversee the development of detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation.

+ Provide creative direction and guidance to the design team, ensuring that design solutions align with the project's vision and goals.

+ Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the design and construction phases.

+ Conduct regular site visits to ensure that design concepts are being implemented accurately and according to specifications.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, general contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project integration.

+ Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovative design approaches to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

+ Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

+ Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience

+ Seven or more years of experience in commercial construction/interior design practices and procedures, and project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out

+ Strong portfolio showcasing successfully delivered interior design projects

+ Experience with Bluebeam & Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for use in communicating program updates to executive level

+ Experience working with AutoCAD and Revit

+ Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

+ Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.

+ Travel estimated at 25-50%

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Four or more years of experience in a people leader role

+ Prior experience working in a data center environment.

+ Perform necessary and timely follow-up, escalating appropriately if necessary.

+ Strong planning, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, on multiple, concurrent projects of varying complexity and competing priority.

+ Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards project success.

+ Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

+ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
