Position Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in the design industry
- Technical skills in AutoCAD and rendering software such as Chief Architect
- Experience with high level cabinetry and millwork design
- Strong creative problem solving skills
- Ability to work in multiple projects at various stages of development with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Applications & task management software such as Asana
- Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Position Responsibilities:
- Create thoughtful and inspiring design work that exceeds a clients vision
- Collaboration with design team and operations team to prepare and execute presentations, budgets, technical drawing sets; ensuring top-notch quality and client satisfaction
- Work alongside draftsperson to create drawings, schedules, renderings, and construction documents
- Work with external consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to execute detailed design specifications
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a positive, supportive work environment that encourages innovation and learning
- Assist with project photoshoots and product styling
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented with skills and abilities to work under time constraints and pressures of multiple projects
Schedule: Monday-Friday in office
Expected Hours: 34-40 hours/wk
