Job Description:

Job Title: Interior Designer

You're Talented, You're Driven—But Are You Fulfilled?

At Lilly Architects, we're not just filling a position—we're building a team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and shared purpose. If you're an Interior Designer with 2–5 years of experience, someone who's as excited about crafting beautiful spaces as they are about coordinating the details that make them work, let's talk.

We're looking for someone who:

✅ Enjoys collaborating in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

✅ Thrives on balancing creativity with technical precision.

✅ Has an eye for design and a knack for managing multiple priorities without losing focus on quality.

Your Role:

As an Interior Designer at Lilly Architects, you'll be involved in every phase of interior design projects—from early concepts to final construction documents. This isn't just about picking finishes (though you'll do that, too). It's about creating spaces that feel intentional, functional, and timeless.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Create scaled drawings and detailed contract documents using Revit.
  • Develop 2D and 3D models for client presentations and reviews.
  • Research and specify finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that align with project goals.
  • Ensure designs meet codes and compliance standards.
  • Assist in creating studies, reports, and design narratives.
  • Develop space planning diagrams and layouts that unify function and aesthetics.
  • Prepare finish material boards and comprehensive design packages.
  • Collaborate on interior architectural detailing and FFE selection/specification.
  • Contribute to marketing proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain organized and thorough project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape.
  • Experience with Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of architectural building systems.
  • Self-starter mentality with a passion for quality design.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

Why Lilly Architects?

✅ Meaningful Projects: We work on spaces that matter—to our clients and our community.

✅ Tight-Knit Team: You'll work alongside people who value creativity, expertise, and each other.

✅ Growth-Oriented Environment: Your contributions will be seen, your ideas valued, and your career nurtured.

✅ Great Benefits: We offer 401(k) matching, health insurance, dental insurance, and paid time off.

We know you might already be in a good spot. But if you're someone who's ever thought, “I want to do work that excites me, with a team that inspires me, on projects that feel meaningful,”—this might just be your next chapter.
