Intermediate Interior Designers Location: New York Job Description Boutique architecture and interior design firm located in Manhattan seeks skilled 5 year minimum intermediate FF&E designers with high-end private residential experience for new projects.
Applicants should be able to work proficiently and be creative problem solvers in assisting lead designer & principal from start to final installation of project.
The ideal applicant is experienced in ALL aspects of the FF&E process from design, sourcing, purchasing, tracking and installation for high-end residential projects.
Skills required:
- Ability to work independently to set & meet deadlines and set client and principal expectations
- Refined tastes and understanding of leading high-end furniture & fabric dealers and market
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and contractors
- Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled with drawing & coordinating custom bespoke furniture
- Full knowledge & experience of Studio IT to create furniture proposals, PO's, and invoices
- Great organization skills to oversee, track, and install furnishings for several projects
