The Role:

Distinguished for their unique approach to interior design, our client is a well-known international interior design firm with expertise in both luxury residential and hospitality. Their reputation has been built on their adept use of textures, patterns, and styles to create distinctive and exceptional environments. Currently, they are in search of Intermediate Residential Interior Designers.

The position entails collaborative work on upscale interior projects in the residential sector. As part of this role, you will actively participate in the entire design process, spanning from conceptualization to construction administration, specifically focusing on luxury residential projects. Your involvement will be integral to the firm s project engagement, aiding in the enhancement of its professional reputation while upholding a meticulous standard of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and communicate throughout each step of the design process, from initial concept through construction administration
  • Supporting the team in conceptual design and presentation tasks, including sourcing images, creating 3D sketches and models, editing with Photoshop, and preparing and printing presentation boards and booklets.
  • Coordinate and develop FF&E packages and material selections
  • Create initial design sketches utilizing CAD software
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and vendors
  • Support and contribute to a positive working environment
  • Confidently represent the company externally

Key Skills

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited university in Interior Design or related fields
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience
  • Notable experience within the residential sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of FF&E, joinery, and detailing
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
  • High-level proficiencies with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp
