As an intern, you will be a part of a team focused on advising companies in highly regulated industries on high-stakes, event-driven financial and corporate positioning matters. During your time with DGA, you will work alongside our experienced team, who will provide guidance and support throughout the program. You will receive hands-on learning and development opportunities, allowing you to develop your teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.Timeline and LocationThis internship will run from January 2025 (specific start date to be confirmed based on candidates' availability) to May 9, 2025. The internship will be based out of our New York City office; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.As an Intern, You Will
- Conduct in depth research and analysis, develop an array of client-specific content, and contribute to fast-paced projects for some of the most mission-critical issues our clients face.
- Be part of a core team focused on advising companies in highly regulated industries on high-stakes, event-driven financial and corporate positioning matters including but not limited to, crisis communications, litigation communications, transaction advisory, restructuring, and leadership transitions.
- Work with team members to develop materials such as client memos, talking points, background materials, press releases, scenario plans, crisis strategy docs, presentations, reports and other required materials.
- Learn how to conduct research using analytical and monitoring tools.
- Support new business efforts with research and report writing.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the CCA Team on various projects and day to day activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent research, analysis, and writing skills - display a general understanding of strategic communications, financial markets and ability to research and present well-articulated findings on complex topics.
- Manage time pressure without compromising quality - ability to work effectively in a team with multiple projects, balance assignments, and shift priorities on short notice.
- Be accountable for consistency.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- An efficient collaborator with exceptional attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Full or part-time internship opportunities available, but candidates must have the ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Must be currently pursuing, or have recently completed, an undergraduate or graduate-level program. Undergraduate applicants must be at least a rising junior or senior.
- Must be a collaborator with can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and comparable programs
