Summary
Responsible for supporting the design of various engineering projects, involving the analysis, research, design, development, fabrication and/or testing of a product.
This Internship is for Summer 2025. There may also be opportunities for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.
Requirements
Work with engineers to facilitate the design of complex digital systems using FPGA's, digital hardware and embedded software.
Help in all aspects of the design, including schematic entry, writing VHDL Test Benches for FPGA simulations, and hardware and software integration.
Perform necessary tasks as directed by the senior engineer while obtaining a greater understanding of digital circuit design techniques.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Working towards engineering / technical degree, and currently enrolled to complete desired degree
Desire to work in engineering environment
Language Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft and Windows applications
VHDL
Linux knowledge is a plus
Other Skills and Abilities
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, and possess a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things
Ability to take initiative and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
Part-time schedules for internships during: Fall, Winter & Spring.
Full-time schedules for Summer internships. (40 hour week) Approx. Start Date End of May/Beg of June.
Internship salary is based on position and academic year standing.
