Learn more at www.aquatech.com.Aquatech has an immediate need for a fulltime Human Resource Intern to work in our Canonsburg, PA office. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The HR Intern will report to the Human Resource Manager and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered a Non Exempt employee. Must be proficient in computer software and have the ability to learn additional accounting specific software.The successful candidate will be assigned various projects and administrative duties that will provide an opportunity to gain experience and qualifications in various HR functions.Core Responsibilities:
  • Work to data mine and directly connect and recommend candidates via social media.
  • Contribute to various HR-related projects and processes.
  • Map competitors' talent pool.
  • Perform some HR administrative responsibilities including scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating interview schedules.
  • May coordinate background checks and support HR Manager with new hire process/on boarding.
  • Assist in the administration and support of other HR duties, policies, programs.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Previous professional experience a plus, but not required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, & Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong proofreading skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must have analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to work independently or in a team with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must protect and maintain confidentiality without compromise.
