General Responsibilities:- Digital Engineer Intern is responsible for providing support to the Operations & IT departments.
- Assist in developing current/future state workflow mapping with ERP software to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with enhancement of MES software to ensure seamless connectivity with shop floor equipment for real-time data integration and monitoring.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to develop new software user requirements.
- Develop standard procedures, user guides, and other necessary training/job aid materials.
- Assist with design, configuration, testing, data conversion, user acceptance test and go-live support of ERP and MES software implementations.
- Utilize Lean principles and methodologies in leading continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing business processes.
Skills and Experience:- Strong analytical, data integrity and problem-solving skills.
- Prior knowledge and experience in ERP (eg. SAP, Oracle), MES, business process management, or data analysis and machine learning
- Technical writing and presentation skills
- Quick learner and passionate about manufacturing business systems (ERP, MES etc).
- Experience or coursework in workflow mapping, software development lifecycle(SDLC) and project management methodologies
Education:- Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or equivalent field of study required.
- GPA 3.5 or higher
