INTERN - IT Security Application Deadline: December 1, 2024
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: - Work with Nintendo's IT Security team to assist with documentation and cleanup efforts related to IT Security tool stack
- Determine areas of opportunity for automation of repeatable tasks using Security Orchestration and Automation Response (SOAR) playbooks
- Explore opportunities for improvement with key IT Security stakeholders
- Work with vulnerability management tools to analyze and determine urgency for remediation
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: - 3.0+ GPA
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a graduation conferral date between May 2024 and June 2025
- Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java)
- Knowledge of basic Information Security concepts
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals across the organization
- Ability to analyze and manipulate data
- Natural curiosity and problem-solving
- Ability to document technical concepts
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 11-week summer internship between June - September
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. This internship includes a base pay range of $30 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k). #LI-DNI
