- Promote Safety as the number one priority of all Lucas Milhaupt employees.
- Assist with developing and implementing world-class processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
- Support Lucas team members in their daily standard work and improvement projects as needed.
- Collect and analyze data.
- Participate in lean initiatives including 5S, SMED projects and kaizens.
- Support productivity improvement projects in the plant and other waste reduction initiatives.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
RequirementsResponsibilities
- working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education (course of study in operations excellent or similar focus preferred).
- Willingness to function as a member of the operations team and actively participate in improvement events in a production environment for days at a time.
- Capable of executing work according to trained processes and procedures.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and requirements.
- Familiarity with video editing software preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical skills and research competency.
- Ability to influence and communicate respectively and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software (including Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Positive, can-do attitude with good judgment in executing tasks assigned.
