  • Promote Safety as the number one priority of all Lucas Milhaupt employees.
  • Assist with developing and implementing world-class processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
  • Support Lucas team members in their daily standard work and improvement projects as needed.
  • Collect and analyze data.
  • Participate in lean initiatives including 5S, SMED projects and kaizens.
  • Support productivity improvement projects in the plant and other waste reduction initiatives.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
RequirementsResponsibilities
  • working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education (course of study in operations excellent or similar focus preferred).
  • Willingness to function as a member of the operations team and actively participate in improvement events in a production environment for days at a time.
  • Capable of executing work according to trained processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and requirements.
  • Familiarity with video editing software preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills and research competency.
  • Ability to influence and communicate respectively and effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software (including Word, Outlook and Excel).
  • Positive, can-do attitude with good judgment in executing tasks assigned.
