POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Intern in our Strength & Conditioning department, working 40 hours per week. This position will assist the strength & conditioning activities with Lacrosse, Swim & Dive, Track & Field and Cross Country. This position also will consist of daily cleaning, maintenance and provide support as needed. This is time-limited position with an option for a second year if essential criteria is met. This posting closes at the end of business day on December 6, 2024. The anticipated start date is in January 2025.MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field
- CSCS certification through the NSCA
- The ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
- Ability to work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in exercise science or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of NCAA & SEC rules and regulations
