Additional Job Description:
The candidate will gain experience with both special projects and day to day tasks associated with multiple roles in a hospital supply chain setting. The candidate will observe and understand the supply chain process from contracting through the delivery of product to the end user.
The candidate will assist with day to day procurement efforts including order processing, match exception resolution, item master maintenance, and customer service activities. In addition, they will observe contract negotiations, business analytics, and decisions made with the assistance of value analysis department. The candidate will also gain experience in new hospital onboarding and logistics associated with materials management, all while working in an integrated delivery network health care system.
