The Internal Consulting Solutions (ICS) organization is a dynamic and expanding team within Citi responsible for leading high value initiatives to meet Citi's transformation and business priorities. The ICS organization delivers significant programs in close partnership with Citi's functional and business unit senior leadership. ICS covers a diverse set of critical initiatives which vary in size, duration, and complexity sponsored by senior leadership which have significant and measurable business value outcomes.The ICS team is an interdisciplinary team comprised of colleagues with deep management consulting and financial services expertise engaging Citi employees at all stakeholder levels.Key Roles: The Director is part of the core member of Citi's internal consulting (ICS) organization. The key roles of the internal consulting organization are to lead significant programs in partnership with Citi's functional and business unit leadership; to develop Citi's approaches and methods; to build change capabilities across Citi; and to engage Citi employees at all levels in transformational change.The Director uses methodologies to deliver and support specific Citi operating model and business process improvement projects and programs. Projects will vary in size, duration, and complexity; will have measurable business value outcomes; and will have senior management to Executive-level sponsorship.In addition to participating on operating model, process improvement and process transformation projects and programs, the Director owns specific workstreams to ensure delivery against project objectives, provides support as a thought leader in methodologies relative to process analysis, design, and implementation approaches and methods to be leveraged on projects undertaken by the internal consulting organization. As such, the individual is expected to support ICS Senior Leadership in building the internal consulting team's approach for delivery of operating model, process improvement and process transformation.The performance of the Director will be measured by a combination of individual and team metrics including value return on process improvement and transformation projects and programs, stakeholder feedback, and contribution to thought and team leadership.RESPONSIBILITIES: Support ICS Leadership to scope and launch operating model, process improvement and process transformation projects, applying agile principles, by identifying business needs, validating key pain points, and determining the business case for change. Use hypotheses development, data analysis / analytics, and process mapping tools and methods to establish project scope and potential value. Conduct and incorporate research and competitive analysis as required.Support ICS Leadership to devise innovative solutions through leveraging an agile methodology to address process pain points and value opportunities. Participate in planning and conducting functional and cross-functional working sessions to develop future state process models that address value opportunities. Support conducting and incorporating leading practice assessments and benchmarking as required.Participate in leveraging change management approaches and methods and support the assessment of organization capacity and readiness for change. Use the assessment to work with business leaders to establish an implementation plan for process improvement / process transformation that identifies timing, key projects / initiatives, resources / teams, and change management approach.Own the development of project plans, including backlogs and user stories, establishment of Steering Team(s), and mobilization and launch of project teams to support operating model, process improvement and process transformation project launch.Leverage Six Sigma, Lean, DMAIC, and other common process change methodologies and support the establishment of the Citi Productivity Playbook for Process Improvement and Process Transformation.Help create culture change within Citi. Reduce time to market, boost quality, raise employee morale and become a more adaptive organization.Must be eligible to work in US. This position does not offer VISA sponsorship.QUALIFICATIONS: At least 15+ years of experience in Operating Model, Process improvement and Process Transformation projects for end-to-end processes crossing business areas / siloes within Financial Services, Consulting (strong preference for management consulting experience) or Investment Banking. 3+ years serving as a project / program manager on operating model, process reengineering or transformation projects, using agile methodologies, that delivered demonstrated ROI and which were sponsored by Senior management. Some experience within Banking and Financial Services or another regulated industry is strongly preferred. Management Consulting experience is required.Proven capability to support the development / adaption of Process improvement and Process Transformation approaches and methods, and support others on the approaches and methods, as necessary.
