Job DescriptionOur client, a community health center, is currently seeking to hire an Internal Medicine Physician. Be part of a team advocating for and providing a welcoming environment for adults through several New York City homeless services locations.Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform initial assessment of mental health conditions
- Order and analyze necessary diagnostic tests
- Prescribe appropriate treatment and/or medication in an evidence-based manner
- 100% outpatient
- Clinical plus teaching
- Precept residents
- Monday to Friday schedule, no call
- Multiple locations
Job Requirements
- MD/DO
- BC/BE in Family Medicine
- NY State Medical License
- 1+ years of work experience in similar work setting
- Spanish speaking preferred
- New grads and fellows welcome to apply
- Experience in FQHC, Addiction, or HIV a plus
