Mayo Clinic in Arizona seeks an Internist or Geriatrician with Occupational Medicine experienceto join its Community Internal Medicine Practice. The Division of Community Internal Medicine is seeking a board-certified internist with experience in Occupational Medicine for a position planned to be part-time general internal medicine and part-time occupational medicine. Experience or training in occupational medicine preferred, but we will provide training for the right candidate. The ideal candidate would have academic and/or research experience, administrative leadership and clinical expertise in primary care and occupational medicine. The preferred candidate would have 3-5 years of clinical experience with academic and/or research experience.There are ample opportunities for teaching residents and medical students, as well as the pursuit of clinical and translational research projects. The academic practice at Mayo offers a diversity of experiences with opportunities for education, research, administration, committee membership, and clinical collaboration. This position includes an academic appointment with the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic. A commitment to quality patient care and medical education is expected.
QualificationsMust be an MD, DO, or equivalent. Must be able to obtain an unrestricted Arizona physician medical license.
Fellowship training and/or experience in occupational medicine preferred.
