About Us:Hart & Hickman, PC is a growing environmental consulting firm with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC seeking a skilled and dynamicIn-House Recruiterto join our HR team. Our commitment to quality products and smarter environmental solutions has resulted in increased revenues and the need for additional environmental scientists, engineers, and geologists. In addition, our strategic plans include growing the firm by increasing our staff size in our existing offices and potentially starting up new office locations in the region. This position is open to either part-time (at least 20 hours/week) or full-time applicants to help attract and hire top talent for multiple roles within the organization.Position Summary:The In-House Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and participation with the hiring team to facilitate hiring decisions. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to effectively collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure the successful placement of high-quality candidates.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tailored recruiting strategies to attract top talent for various roles- Partner with hiring managers to create detailed job descriptions and specifications based on position requirements.- Source and engage potential candidates through diverse channels, such as online job boards, social media, networking, universities, and employee referrals.- Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.- Maintain, monitor, and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment activities.- Provide regular updates and insights to the HR team and hiring managers on recruitment progress and metrics.- Assist with employer branding initiatives and participate in career fairs and other recruitment events to promote Hart & Hickman as an employer of choice.- Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a professional services industry such as engineering, architecture, or environmental consulting.- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time, based on business needs and candidate availability.Why Join Hart & Hickman?- Collaborative and innovative work environment, supporting professional growth and development.- Flexible work schedule with the option for part-time or full-time employment.- Company team-building events and community service events- Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off (for full-time positions).- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a focus on professional development.- Be a part of a company that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and interest in the position.
