SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Customer Service International Representative II under limited supervision, performs a wide variety of routine support activities in the international customer service function. Responsible for promoting and maintaining positive customer relations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Supports international customers, regional sales manager and selling partners.
* Respond to customer inquiries by researching status of sales orders, repair orders or billing inquiries.
* Interact with other departments to ensure delivery schedule or help resolve account billing.
* Process warranty claims, handles customer returns or exchanges.
* Provide product and pricing information by way of phone inquiry, faxes and e-mail quotations.
* Coordinate standard customer inquiries concerning order status, ship date, price quotes, availability and related questions.
* Review orders for correct price, part numbers and descriptions per standard catalog listing.
* Enter orders and prepare quotes using QAD and SHIPS software.
* Prepare large tender offers.
* Prepare export routings and (SHIPS) documents.
* Obtain freight quotes from carriers or forwarders and coordinate consolidated shipments.
* Maintain associated records, activity logs, and documents.
* Requires ability to use company policies and procedures in resolving an array of problems.
* May provide work leadership to lower level employees.
* Other duties and projects as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Requires a two-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
* Three plus years related experience.
* General understanding of export regulations and letters of credit.
* Experience preparing export orders and documents.
* MRP or ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience.
* Experience using Windows Office products.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Related regional language skills a plus.
* Experience using Letters of Credit and other Documentary Credit instruments to facilitate sales.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Excellent data entry and organizational skills (at least 55 wpm, 10,000 kph required)
* Microsoft Office applications knowledge
