HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Registered Clinical Nurse (RN) is fundamental in achieving recognized world-class health care:

• Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment.
• The primary responsibility is providing care through collaboration with health care team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process.
• Also provides leadership, mentoring and role modeling for other members of the health care team.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure and clean environment.
• Care provided displays respect for the patients rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs.
• Adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety.

Nurse Manager

Supervises:

Nurse Extern, Graduate/Licensed Practical Nurse, Nursing Technician/Specialty Technician, Unit Secretary, Patient Care Assistant

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY:

Required Education:

• Associates in Nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Required Experience:

• No previous experience required
• Preferred: 2-5 years experience as RN

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Current license to practice as an RN in Florida
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area
