Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 104 weeks Shift: Day - 11.5x3 - 07AM - 07PM Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week Experience: - Minimum of two years of experience in an emergency room setting License: - New York State RN License - Primary Source Verification Certifications: - AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - IV/Phlebotomy experience - AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Must-Have: - IV insertion and phlebotomy skills - Conscious sedation experience - Proficiency in English (read, write, speak) Job Description: - Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately - Initiate IV access and perform phlebotomy as needed - Monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation procedures - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans - Maintain patient safety and adhere to all established protocols and guidelines
