Position SummaryTime-limited, part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week), supports international student and scholar services through document processing, data entry and recordkeeping. The expected duration of the position is six months.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities- Processes immigration documents for international students and/or scholars.
- Reviews status eligibility documentation from students, scholars and/or departments.
- Works with international students and/or scholars under the supervision of the OISS Leadership team.
- Ensures regulatory compliance by maintaining international student and/or scholar records in SEVIS and/or Terra Dotta.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications- Associates Degree or higher.
- One to two years experience in Human Resources, Payroll or International Services.
- Experience with databases and running reports.
- Knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Workday, TerraDotta, Ellucian, FNIS, SEVIS) and databases.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential materials appropriately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
- Two years of administrative office experience.
GradeG07-HSalary Range$19.29 - $29.91 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
