Manager International TaxThe Manager of International Tax role at Masco Corporation presents an outstanding chance to work with a credible Finance/Insurance team in Livonia, MI. This exciting position supports our multidimensional international operations by coordinating a range of international tax technical subjects. Reporting to the Director of Tax Strategy and Planning, you will have a leading role in crafting and implementing our global tax strategy.Responsibilities
  • Lead U.S. tax compliance for foreign operations, including preparing and reviewing tax return filings (5471s, 8858s, 1118), and completing Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and FTC calculations.
  • Assist with modeling, provision computations, and compliance strategy related to BEPS Pillar 2.
  • Review quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations related to the U.S. impacts of international operations.
  • Provide support for foreign tax audits and U.S. IRS audits pertaining to international matters.
  • Maintain and carry out arms-length transfer pricing policies, compliance, and documentation through coordination with business unit controllers and external consultants.
  • Track and model tax positions and their potential impacts on the company's effective tax rate.
  • Keep current on developments in global tax that may affect our business, including monitoring and analyzing tax legislation.
  • Collaborate with finance and business leaders to provide advice and information on complex international tax matters.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing tax strategies in collaboration with business partners to optimize tax outcomes in line with business objectives.
  • Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization.
Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience, with additional qualifications such as MST/CPA and/or JD/LLM.
  • 5+ years of relevant international tax experience.
  • Strong U.S. international technical tax knowledge with demonstrated experience in compliance, ASC 740 financial reporting, and transfer pricing.
  • Capability to carry out detailed tax research and formulate well-supported tax positions and documentation.
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Competence to clearly and effectively communicate tax requirements to leaders in non-Tax functional areas.
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships and networks across Masco and externally.
  • Brings to bear technology as a means to champion continuous improvement.
