Job Description:

Travel Advisors play a leading role in generating revenue for the Relais & Chateaux Hotel Association. They field inquiries for transient reservations and must convert as many of these calls as possible into confirmed reservations. After quoting rates appropriate to specific requests, they must obtain an agreement from the caller and confirm a reservation.

The majority of calls will be from our high-end customers and VIP travel agents. They must be able to listen and communicate effectively with a wide range of callers; close the sale, and input detailed information into our CRS (Central Reservations System) accurately and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take reservation calls for transient hotel reservations and convert as many of these calls into revenue as possible.
  • Managing relationships with our high-end customers and VIP Travel Agencies.
  • Handle loyalty program administration.
  • Concierge Service for top customers (building itineraries, restaurant reservations, airport transportation, tours, excursions, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hotel reservations sales experience necessary.
  • Positive attitude and a great team player.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong geographical knowledge, especially of Europe and North America in general (France, Italy, and The Americas).
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to work independently. Following through is key.
  • Familiarity with Synxis is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish/English is REQUIRED.
  • Must have right to work in the USA - NO VISA SPONSORSHIP.
