DescriptionJob Duties:
- Represents the company for the sale of residential agricultural equipment to customers to meet sales goals.
- Manages and follows up on all sales leads
- Researches availability of models and optional equipment and suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase.
- Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of equipment.
- Monitors competitive activity/products and explains features of equipment
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with their purchase.
- Arranges for delivery with applicable store personnel to meet delivery agreements made during sales process.
- Completes paperwork accompanying sales, including but not limited to, preparing sales contract and various paperwork.
- Maintains sales management information for all customers and leads.
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- Complies with Company policies and procedures
- Grow assigned territory sales and market share
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment sales experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business field preferred or related experience required
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and the internet.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Must be energetic and a self-starter
- Ability to cold-call customers and grow market share in new markets
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
