Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern.The Hourly rate for this role is $25.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do:This position is for intern pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering who will complete a specified project centered around Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS) at the East Providence plant. This role is designed to give a student real experience in Aerospace Quality Control Division with ownership of a tangible project that will have significant impact to the site. The work will require a basic working knowledge of engineering principles, problem-solving methods, and python programing.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Strong attention to detail with critical thinking skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft (Word and Excel) and Adobe (Acrobat) products.• Quick to learn new technologies and applications for creating documents.• Ability to work at a proficient pace, be self-directed and maintain specific job assignments throughout entire shift.• Create a presentation on work completed throughout the internship, and present to Site Leadership Team.Basic Qualifications• Actively enrolled in or received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering degree program at an accredited institution.• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please don't round).• Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Rumford, RI.• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.• This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
