- We create opportunities for psychologists, and we lead solutions for mental/behavioral health, population health, and diverse societal needs.
- We embrace new approaches, conceptualizations, and models of practice to meet current and emerging demands, especially for population health and health equity. We communicate with the public and members for high-priority issues.
- These goals are accomplished through legislative, regulatory and marketplace advocacy; guideline and policy development; and by promoting reimbursement, access to care, equity, and innovation. The Practice Directorate creates opportunities for psychologists to flourish and lead the development of solutions for mental/behavioral health challenges and societal needs.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program of study with a major and/or minor in psychology, communication, business administration, or other relevant discipline
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to assist in web content maintenance, including, but not limited to, publishing content, providing recommendations on updates and improvements
- Capable of researching literature, reviewing content, and fact-checking
- Available to support event and meeting planning logistics, attend team meetings, and complete other projects as assigned
