ABOUT PRECISION DIAGNOSTICS:

Precision Diagnostics, based in San Diego, California is a fast-growing clinical laboratory that specializes in providing quantitative drug testing, primarily for the purpose of helping physicians monitor their patients undergoing treatment for pain or substance abuse. Precision's objective is to improve patient adherence/compliance with their prescription regimen and protect medical practices from liability.

We have an opening for an experienced Interoperability, Senior Analyst that can implement our interoperability projects to successful outcomes for patients, providers, and payers alike.

OUTCOMES:

To be successful, you should agree that addressing the needs and exceeding the expectations of customers is the only way to do business. That the interoperability landscape has changed and requires more than just a choice between bi-directional and results only interfaces. The rate of technology adoption must increase to comply with new healthcare rules. While this position is not required to perform software engineering or code development, it is critical to understand how to apply modern and emerging technologies.

THE ROLE:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively to external and internal customers.
  • Understanding client needs and how to implement connectivity.
  • Able to set up connections from start to finish, working with all applicable stakeholders.
  • Document work and maintain project status visibility.
  • Work closely with other internal departments as well as IT partners to resolve client integration and connectivity issues.
  • Operates multiple IT tools to identify and troubleshoot integration related issues
  • Speak with busy customers to assess data needs/workflow short falls and make recommendations for addressing these needs using Electronic Medical Records/Office Management Systems (EMR/OMS), EDI interfaces, reports, training, and other related needs.
  • Provide basic technical support for client EMR systems utilize internal ticketing system.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 4-year degree or 4+ year of relevant IT career experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in physician office workflow, prior lab/IT experience a plus.
  • Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates problem-solving skills.
  • To be successful, you agree that technology is a key part of every business process, and you will make modern technology adoption part of your routine.
  • Become fluent in Microsoft 365 (formerly Office635) applications assigned to your role. Common applications include Teams, Word, Excel, Tasks and Planner
  • Complete training in a timely manner that is assigned to you. Training is primarily conducted via Microsoft Learn modules and is assigned based on:
    • Position/Job Role Most positions require a core set of Microsoft 365 working knowledge
    • Project Role As member of a project team, you may be required to complete training before you can engage with the project team or commence project work
    • Ad-Hoc Based on review of your performance via support requests, training modules will be assigned to increase skills

ADDITIONAL JOB CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
  • This position is Full-Time.
  • Salary Range is $85,000 to $125,000
  • Standard 8-hour workday with flexible start time.
  • This position is 100% remote.
