BILINGUAL CANDIDATES NEEDED FOR EDUCATION AND MEDICAL INTERPRETER POSITIONSAffordable Language Services is looking for BILINGUAL CANDIDATES in all languages in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas to partner with us to provide services as an interpreter.Responsibilities:- Provide interpretation services for patients and healthcare providers in a hospital setting- Assist with communication between patients and medical staff during appointments, consultations, and procedures- Interpret medical terminology and complex medical information accurately and efficiently- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and patient care- Assist with documentation review and translation of medical records as neededExperience:- Fluency in English and {relevant language(s)} required- Previous experience as a medical interpreter or in a related field (e.g., social work, child protective services) preferred- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalismNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
