ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Physician Associate to join a well-established Interventional Cardiology team in Greenville, NC. Applicants with 1-2 years of experience are preferred. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP. Job Highlights include:•Employment by ECU Health Physicians•Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, home to the East Carolina Heart Institute•Established team of 4 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers•Work closely with interventional and structural teams in a fast-paced hospital environment•Inpatient responsibilities will include providing specialized care to patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures, monitoring patients postoperatively in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, daily rounding, implementation of individualized care plans, and follow up care in an outpatient clinic setting•Schedule includes (4) 10hr shifts per week with rotating weekend coverage•Premium pay for any weekend coverage•29 county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents•Excellent compensation and benefit plan•Applicant required to have ACLS certification from the American Heart Association ECU Health Physicians includes an academic practice model (ECU employment) and a community practice model (health system employment).
