SUMMARY As an Interventional Technologist, your attention to detail and assistance with radiology procedures ensures diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients undergoing procedures.

STATUS: Full-Time LOCATION: Clifton Springs Hospital DEPARTMENT: Imaging SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday, Days/Evenings/Nights

ATTRIBUTES

• 6 months as Radiologic Technologist preferred; Interventional Technologist experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patient Care. Provide on-call coverage for radiography in all assigned areas, including angiography, interventional and digital subtraction angiography; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts and throughout the angiographic area; transport medications to procedure
• Documentation. Properly document exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts
• General Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basis

EDUCATION:

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
