**Inventory Accountant**

**Where we need help**

Youll have fun working closely with our Accounting Team, key cross functional partners, and external service providers to report the most substantial asset on the balance sheet - inventory! Daily tasks will include being responsible for inventory data management and entry, creating journal entries, account reconciliations, three-way matching, becoming an SAP expert, providing audit support, and working on ad-hoc projects and reporting activities. You will learn to understand the supply chain process from beginning to end, the importance of data integrity and flow, and work with our tech team to help with ERP system integration. Youll help us build strong infrastructure to support growth and scale by identifying inefficiencies and communicating accounting needs clearly. You thrive in an ambiguous, fast paced, and challenging environment. You absorb complexity and simplify the concepts for third parties to easily understand. * Help streamline inventory-close process

* Own international regions for inventory life cycle

* Prepare and upload daily 3PL files

* Alert downstream stakeholders when issues arise

* Review and aid with the stock transfer order process

* Upload trade invoices and ensure 3-way match

* Track, report, and resolve errors and inventory discrepancies

* Reconcile inventory accounts

* Find ways to improve process and automation

* Work with 3PL WMS systems to ensure inventory accuracy

* Work with retail and logistics teams to creatively seek resolution to challenging issues

* Assist in various ad-hoc projects with the ERP team as needed

* Assist in annual audits

* Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

* Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task

* Be highly organized and drive change

* Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills

* Proficiency in Excel

* Highly motivated and able to thrive under pressure

* Team player with a positive attitude, pro-active and owns accountability

**More practical skills needed**

* BA/BS or equivalent

* 1-2 years of accounting experience

* CPA is a plus

* SAP experience a plus
