Summary/Objective
The Inventory Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the dealership's inventory in the dealership accounting system.
Essential Functions
* Enters all new vehicles into the dealership's accounting system
* Enters purchased used cars into the dealership's accounting systems and produces checks for payment
* Reconciles the physical inventory of vehicles to the dealership's book balances
* Reconciles factory holdbacks
* Monitors parts and service clearing accounts for balance to be applied to inventory
* Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the manufacturer
* Produces reports on the inventory of the dealership according to policy and on request
* Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean
* Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards
* Follows the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
* Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors
* Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
* Maintains a professional appearance for self in accordance with company policy
* Attends pertinent training on request
* Attends company meetings as required
