Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Inventory Analyst at Striker in Hudson, WI. The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for conducting inventory analysis, utilizing analytical skills to optimize inventory management, managing vendor relationships, coordinating delivery schedules, and maintaining effective communication with the product development and sales teams.

  • Evaluating and monitoring contracts to ensure suppliers and vendors are complying with terms and conditions.
  • Maintaining and reviewing records of inventories, product performance, deliveries, costs and items purchased.
  • Work with team members in sales, warehouse, and product development to identify demand needs for on-time delivery.
  • Understanding of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, experience in taking initiative and making appropriate decisions.
  • Written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships within and outside the company.
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders for all company vendors.
  • Track container arrival dates through broker/forwarder and communicate to team members.
  • Submit Customs documentation to broker on behalf of company.
  • Analyze inventory demand along with lead time for production.
  • Responsible for maintaining correct inventory levels in each warehouse

Qualifications

  • Inventory Analysis, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management skills
  • Analytical Skills and use of Excel
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience in inventory management systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
