Essential Responsibilities & Duties of Inventory Analyst:
- The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the company's inventory levels
- Utilize data analysis and forecasting techniques to ensure optimal stock availability
- The Inventory Analyst will help minimize costs associated with overstocking and streamline inventory management processes
- Aim to balance supply and demand while maximizing profitability across the supply chain
- Inventory Analyst will work closely with purchasing teams to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify opportunities for process improvements
Requirements for Inventory Analyst:
- Associate's or Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of experience with inventory preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Interpersonal skills; organization skills and multi-tasking ability
- Communication skills (verbal and written) with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts; Professionally assertive
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions that result in higher profitability
- Operates with high integrity; builds trust, quickly wins and sustains credibility in relationship with others
