This is a newly created role where you will have the opportunity to shape processes, build systems, and create efficiencies that will fuel our growth for years to come.St. Julian Winery & Distillery is a dynamic and creative environment that values tradition and innovation equally. You will work in our beautiful Paw Paw, Michigan corporate office, collaborating closely with our production team to support all channels-bulk wine sales, wholesale, and direct to customers. You will manage inventory for over 150 SKUs, including wines, spirits, ciders, and juices. We are looking for an innovative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to tackle challenges head-on. If you have experience in the food or beverage industry and are ready to take your career to the next level, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Location: Paw Paw, Michigan (Onsite)Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per yearAs the Inventory and Logistics Coordinator, you will:
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems to track and report inventory levels accurately.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage reorder points, and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate distributor and bulk wine orders, arrange shipments, and schedule deliveries with warehouse managers in various markets.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and production work orders.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Partner with sales, production, and winemaking teams to align inventory needs and strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment (food or beverage industry strongly preferred).
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP.
  • Education:
    • Associate's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related work experience.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Administrative experience in a food or beverage manufacturing facility.
    • Familiarity with shipping, delivery coordination, and production billing processes.
