We are seeking an upbeat, energetic, and self-motivated Inventory Associate to join our Central Region team located in Chicago and manage our Austin and Dallas, Texas markets! As an Inventory Associate at Intersection, you will be responsible for tracking, monitoring and scheduling advertising space for potential campaigns and you will help to ensure that contracted campaigns go off without a hitch. You will constantly assess space conditions and communicate changes proactively with our sales team in order to maximize revenue. Additionally, you will be the touchpoint for the local transit authorities on internal campaigns, community partnerships and monthly occupancy.

Within your first month, you will:

* Train with your manager and other team members to understand inventory management processes

* Take a deep dive into learning the media and advertising opportunities offered in our Texas markets

* Get to know all account executives and familiarize yourself with their programs

* Collaborate with the Operations team to understand how you work together towards the common goal

Within your first three months, you will:

* Build strong relationships with the Client Success and Sales teams

* Manage all inventory requests and inventory holds

* Effectively schedule all potential and contracted advertising campaigns in various internal databases

* Maintain and update our internal hold request database (CRM) and inventory database (Quattro)

* Identify schedule challenges or opportunities, and shift programs accordingly

* Master communications with Operations team regarding work orders and posting instructions

* Monitor late copy report and campaign install progress and communicate any issues to Sales team

* Generate post-campaign reports

Within your first six to nine months, you will:

* Master shifting programs in order to maximize inventory and revenue

* Feel confident in your market knowledge in order to provide proactive, thoughtful, strategic recommendations

* Cross-train with assigned inventory team(s) in other markets across the company in order to help provide back-up and assistance

* Develop a reputation for being a solid resource

* You will be a member of a great team at Intersection!

You are great for the role because:

* You have a Bachelors degree with relevant advertising and/or media experience

* You have familiarity with the Austin and Dallas markets

* You are detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills

* You have the ability to handle simultaneous projects and requests in a fast paced environment

* You are proactive and self-motivated with the ability to demonstrate good judgment

* You are an excellent analytical thinker who can interpret data and generate insights and then apply them in strategic decision-making situations

* You have outstanding interpersonal skills and can effectively communicate with various internal departments including Sales, Operations and Production

* You can work independently without day to day supervision but also thrive in a collaborative team setting

* You are proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office and G Suite, especially Excel and Sheets, with the ability to master new software/programs. Familiarity with Quattro is a huge plus!
