- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality.
- Verify that the correct quantities and types of goods are received.
- Track inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
- Update inventory databases and systems with new stock information.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Organize and categorize inventory for easy access and efficient storage.
- Use shelving, bins, and labeling systems to keep the warehouse orderly
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer or company specifications.
- Ensure that all items in an order are accurate and in good condition before shipping.
- Enter inventory data into computer systems or databases.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and other metrics as needed.
