Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Inventory Associates for our client in Morrisville/Durham, NC. The Inventory Associate will be primarily responsible for verifying and maintaining documentation for incoming, stored, and outgoing materials. The Inventory Associate will need to demonstrate attention to detail and critical thinking skills in order to identify and reconcile any inventory discrepancies. This position has 3 shifts available: M-TH, 7pm to 5:30am (Morrisville) M-TH, 7:45pm to 6:15am (Durham) M-F, 7pm to 4:30am (Durham) Responsibilities: -Keep accurate records of received and shipped items, as well as loading and unloading of shipments and documentation of inventory in order to provide excellent organization of product and customer satisfaction. -Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions. -Maintain and update inventory records. -Reconcile inventory discrepancies. -Implement a loss prevention program. -Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary. -Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable products. Working hours: 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Skills: -Forklift and hand truck experience preferred. -Computer and software skills, particularly with inventory system and MS Word and Excel. -Ability to stand and perform the physical requirements of the position up to 12 hours with a few short breaks. -Willingness to abide by all plant practices and procedures. -Overtime is an expected requirement. -Ability to maintain great attendance and tardy record. -Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills. -Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. -Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards -Must be able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs -Must be able to listen and speak clearly -Ability to work at comfortably at heights Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: - Inventory Management Experience If you are looking for a great opportunity to utilize your experience in inventory management, this is the role for you!
