POSITION SUMMARY
The SGK Print Inventory Associate is accountable for ensuring the integrity of inventory systems through audits, analysis and reporting. This role establishes and follows procedures and guidelines to assist personnel in maintaining and improving the accuracy of inventory records. The Inventory Associate administers and continues to develop a plant-wide cycle count program to find and correct errors and causes of errors in the perpetual inventory records. This is a full-time role working onsite at our manufacturing facility located in East Butler, PA typically Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains system integrity by auditing, analyzing, reporting and following-up on issues that are found.
* Measures and reports on value of inventory cycle counted, value of cycle count adjustments, record accuracy, root causes of errors, and progress of corrective actions.
* Institutes corrective actions as required to meet inventory accuracy and financial control requirements. Identifies areas for inventory turns reduction.
* Maintains the cycle counting program.
* Compiles scrap cost summary report weekly.
* Ensures the month end cut off task list is completed.
* Requests Bill of Material and Routing audits.
* Organizes and prepares physical inventory.
* Ensures all scheduled cycle count worksheets are accurate and submitted on time.
* Calculates variance from actual to system count and record all items out of tolerance.
* Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related field
* 3+ years of previous inventory analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
* High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
* Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
* Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
* Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
* Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
* Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
* Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
* Ability to work overtime as necessary.
