Job Description:
McKenna Motor Co., Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Inventory Associate for our automotive dealership group. This position reports to the Business Manager and is located in our Norwalk business office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Post and process wholesales, dealer trades, lease returns and/or retire service loaners into accounting
  • Process dealer trade title work
  • Responsible for all aspects of vehicle inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Knowledge of used vehicle title work
  • Previous automotive dealership DMV processing experience
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with DMV Desk and CDK DMS systems.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
Education/Training/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Two years of file clerk, clerical, customer service or similar experience preferred
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to remain in an upright position while assisting customers.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside theoffice, and between offices, to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The person in this position regularly communicates with supervisor to provide status updates. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs.
  • Constantly works office environment
  • Manage and record inventory for new and used vehicle with attention and accuracy Process Dealer Trade Paperwork Review schedules Used car purchases Performs other duties as assigned Automotive experience is a MUST
