The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, a keen eye for detail, and familiarity with NetSuite.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement:
- Source and purchase CNC lathe wood components and metal spinning components.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production needs.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, reorder points, and lead times.
Supplier Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all purchased components meet Allied Maker's quality standards.
- Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers.
NetSuite Utilization:
- Use NetSuite for inventory tracking, order management, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance within the NetSuite system.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the production and design teams to understand component requirements.
- Coordinate with the finance department to manage budgets and cost controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an inventory buyer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC lathe operations and metal spinning processes.
- Proficiency with NetSuite is mandatory.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
