Job Summary: The Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting in the implementation of our material locations. This role involves updating inventory locations, tracking inventory movements, conducting physical counts and updating inventory records. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create new shelf labels for inventory and set material in proper location.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the inventory management system.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile with system records.
- Enter inventory data into the inventory management system accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure smooth inventory operations.
- Assist with inventory-related inquiries from other departments.
Qualification / Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic math skills for counting and managing inventory.
