Overview
- Process and track documentation regarding maintenance activities.
- Purchase maintenance, janitorial, and expendable items as necessary and maintain inventory control of maintenance items.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include
- Create and close maintenance work orders using MP2 database.
- Generate PM's weekly, enter and close in database.
- Source and/or purchase and/or expedite material orders and shipments for the maintenance department.
- Enter, receive, and close PO's in database.
- Maintain Approved Vendor list and source files on vendors and manufacturers.
- Return damaged or defective materials and accurately record all information necessary for traceability.
- Maintain spare parts and expendable item inventory.
- Catalogue instruction manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Must have knowledge of MP2 maintenance software, Excel, and AX.
- Maintain facilities landscape with vendors and assure work is completed.
- Order and stock coffee bar and janitorial supplies for entire campus.
- Must be able to interact well with other employees daily.
- Coordinate annual and bi-annual fire alarm, sprinkler system, backflow, and fire extinguisher inspections with vendor.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Three years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Three years' experience in purchasing and data entry.
- Intermediate MS Office, MP2, Excel skills.
