This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job Overview: The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring stock levels meet demand, and coordinating with other departments for efficient flow of goods. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to use inventory management software. The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in preventing stock shortages or excesses and ensuring smooth operations within our stockroom. Key Responsibilities: Track, record, and manage incoming and outgoing inventory items. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking of items as needed. Perform regular stock audits and physical counts to verify inventory accuracy. Update inventory records in the inventory management system with receipts, issues, and stock adjustments. Organize and label inventory items in a clear and orderly manner to streamline retrieval and storage. Communicate with procurement, production, and shipping departments to ensure adequate supply levels. Process and document inventory transactions such as stock transfers, shipments, and returns. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts or stock levels. Assist with preparing inventory reports and analysis for management review. Adhere to safety guidelines and proper handling of materials in the stockroom. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, M1, ERP systems). Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items as needed. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
