The responsibility of an Inventory Control Coordinator is to cycle count inventory for accuracy in the raw warehouse, correct any errors, and inspect packaging integrity for damages.
What You Need to Know: - Must interpret and key inventory accuracy reports daily
- Select A, B, and C categorized items to be counted daily.
- With report generated cycle count all locations for each part listed.
- Analyze any errors that are found and correct by adjusting.
- Check condition of packaging and repair if necessary.
- Record and track all errors found.
- Complete all information weekly into cycle count report and distribute.
- Willing to work occasional overtime.
- Must be self sufficient worker with minimal supervision required
- Must be able to effectively communicate to a team
- Must be willing to train on various industrial powered equipment (fork truck, reach truck, etc...)
What We Are Looking For:- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 1-2 years of previous experience or training or a combination of education and training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company item numbering system and terminology.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:Regularly exposed to the manufacturing plant environment. Potential exposure may include, but is not limited to: solvents, dusts, noise, heat, outside weather conditions, cramped spaces, and building construction areas. Potential physical demands include, but are not limited to: frequent walking and standing, occasional climbing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, lifting, carrying, handling, pushing, and pulling.
