BODYARMOR is looking for an Inventory Analyst to join our team.

The Inventory Analyst is a critical role which requires the communication skills to work across internal functions as well as a high level of interaction with 3rd party co-manufacturing facilities and warehouse vendors. This position focuses on tactical execution of inventory reconciliations and deep root cause analysis, while also requiring collaboration with others to deliver resolution and accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A problem-solving team player with full inventory control accountability for defined regions within the BODYARMOR Operations function. This includes Co-manufacturing facilities and Distribution Centers.

  • Play a lead analytical role as a subject matter expert within the inventory team of nine (9) total associates. Requires assisting and providing guidance to Inventory Coordinators on execution of transactional activities for inventory postings and complex resolution on inventory related matters.

  • Analysis expectations include managing inventory exceptions and uncovering root cause issues, while providing solutions for continuous improvement. This includes resolving systemic issues to improve accuracy over time.

  • Complete a full review of all Operations material and product flow processes. Assess, recommend, and implement new standards as necessary to maintain business controls and deliver efficiency improvements.

  • Facilitate all Operations 3rd party inventory system processing activities by partnering with Operational leads as well as the Accounting department as needed. This includes but not limited to: Work Orders, Stock Transfers, Inventory Receipts (inbound materials), and Outbound deliveries of Finished Goods.

  • Partner with 3rd party Supply Chain vendors as necessary, when involving transmission of information between the organizations (EDIs, vendor relations, book to book reconciliation, etc). Managed clearly defined reporting requirements from 3rd parties and complete follow-up as necessary.

  • Extensive engagement with internal and external parties, while working to credibly influence other leaders on the inventory priorities and gaining consensus on both objectives and delivering the results.

  • Ensure regular book to book system reconciliations occur as appropriately needed between 3rd party locations and BOYARMOR Netsuite. This includes formal documentation and executive report out on results to senior leaders of Operations and Finance functions.

  • Full accountability of regular 3rd party location physical inventory counts of BODYARMOR raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods products. Manage and execute as the process leader of a high-quality physical inventory count to ensure system accuracy. Lead the pre-count planning preparation, communication with all parties, partnership with inventory coordinators, and post-count validations.

  • Leadership skills and ability to influence with integrity are a must. Be a confident, value-add functional Analyst in the operational business with very strong inter-personal skills. Must partner across functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hybrid schedule in Whitestone, NY required (Tues-Thurs in the office)

  • Bachelors degree required, Graduate Degree in Business preferred

  • 3 years Corporate Inventory Control Analyst experience preferrred

  • Supply Chain Finance or Operational experience preferred

  • CPG experience preferred

  • Professional ability to influence other leaders within a fast-paced environment

  • Strong excel skills required

  • Experience with an ERP (Netsuite preferred)

  • Excellent Process orientation and problem-solving skillsets necessary. Detail-focused individual

  • Strong Communication skills required

  • ~20% Travel required by car or plane nationwide

  • Occasional remote weekend work related to physical inventory and month-end deliverables (~10%)
