- Scrutinizes resulting computer reports on data submitted to identify inappropriate inputs and submits corrections and/or re-entries of the invalid or rejected transactions in accordance with system procedure manuals.
- Prepares inventory documents resulting from discrepancies on historical data submitted to the system relating to inventory, purchasing and account.
- Assist in the daily activities associated with the processing distribution and monitoring of Emergency Department supplies.
- Maintain receiving files and records related to requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor contracts and enter inventory control data.
- Review Inventory Control reports and conduct physical counts of shelf stock.
Required Criteria - High School Diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 years experience
- Knowledge of basic inventory control concepts and proven ability to perform accurate record keeping
Qualifications and Experience needed for the position: Strong communication skills, fast and efficient learning, and experience in registration in the healthcare setting and patient relations are a plus.
