POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for computer and physical analysis of inventory. Check and maintain stocking levels, perform projects and assignments associated with inventory. Analysis and coordination of changes in inventory as related to usage and standardization.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of junior and senior level business, accounting, and management level courses or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or business related degree highly preferred, or completion of said degree with one (1) year of employment. May substitute five (5) or more years of hospital specific related experience, with two (2) or more years of hands on product knowledge, in lieu of degree or class work.

SKILLS:

  • System experience with : Lawson / Pyxis / POU / Infor
  • Microsoft Office 10 – Excel, Word, Outlook, Skype
  • Interface / IT background preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years' experience in purchasing commodities and inventory management required. Three (3) years demonstrated computer experience required. Previous inventory control experience, medical product knowledge, and inventory database training. Two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsible to: Director of Materials Management
