Inventory Control and Fulfillment CoordinatorJOB SUMMARY: NAL Research Corp is seeking an experienced Inventory and Fulfillment Coordinator for a full-time on-site position in our department located in our Manassas, VA Headquarters location. The Inventory Control and Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible maintaining an organized stockroom with accurate inventory records, supplying production staff with materials required to perform their tasks, logging/processing/stocking incoming materials and finished goods, as well as creating and keeping records of shipping documentation for both domestic and international customer orders. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize inventory and maintain stockroom integrity by keeping accurate inventory records.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and annual full physical inventory confirming inventory records are correct.
  • When discrepancies are found, alert the Supply Chain Manager so the situation can be investigated.
  • Create Build Assemblies for planned production jobs and deliver to production floor.
  • As requested, document and pull stock for engineering use.
  • Process material receipts, verifying the material received matches what was ordered, work with the Supply Chain Manager to address issues.
  • Package Finished Goods as completed by the Production team, the Production Manager will advise if they were built to satisfy a customer delivery or were built for stock, make the appropriate inventory transactions based on the information received.
  • Package outgoing goods for shipment to fulfill customer Sales Orders, ensuring all packages are securely packaged with the appropriate shipping documents and create the shipping label.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Comply with Export regulations.
  • Comply with all departmental quality, safety, work, and housekeeping rules and regulations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preference to candidates who have worked with an ERP, a manufacturing resource planning (MRP) system, or other inventory tracking software system.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international shipping requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Word and Excel.
  • Requires the ability to read, follow, and understand a structured product Bill of Materials (BoM).
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet daily deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate basic arithmetic without a calculator (i.e., adding and subtracting).
  • Intermediate Level Experience with Excel
  • Intermediate level Experience with QuickBooks
  • Beginner Level Experience with QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced (Inventory Tracking)
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Due to the nature of the work and the environment in which it is performed, you must be a U.S. citizen.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work long hours and maintain a rigorous schedule on an as needed basis. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
